Reliable bulk storage begins with sound engineering. LITCO designs, fabricates, and installs silos and steel storage tanks for industrial, agricultural, and commercial operators throughout Saudi Arabia, producing vessels engineered to maintain their integrity under sustained pressure, fluctuating loads, and the region’s demanding climate. Our manufacturing process follows internationally recognized codes, including ASME Section VIII, API 650, and AWWA D100, giving clients confidence that every tank and silo leaving our facility is built to last and certified to perform.
From municipal water reservoirs to bulk cement silos and chemical process vessels, our engineering team works directly with clients to determine the appropriate material, capacity, and construction method for each application, ensuring the finished vessel meets both operational requirements and site conditions.
LITCO’s silo and tank manufacturing capability supports a broad base of industrial and commercial operators across Saudi Arabia, including:
• Construction and infrastructure (cement and aggregate silos)
• Agriculture (grain silos, feed storage tanks)
• Water and utilities (municipal and firefighting water tanks)
• Oil, gas, and petrochemical processing
• Food, beverage, and pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Chemical processing and industrial plants
Each sector brings its own material compatibility, capacity, and regulatory requirements, and our engineering team tailors every project accordingly rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach to tank and silo design.
Every silo and tank produced by LITCO follows a controlled sequence of engineering, fabrication, and testing stages designed to guarantee structural reliability and long-term performance.
Engineering & Design
Projects begin with structural analysis and 3D modeling using tools such as Tekla Structures and STAAD.Pro, allowing our engineers to calculate wind, seismic, and operational loads before a single plate is cut. This stage determines wall thickness, foundation requirements, and discharge configuration based on the intended application.
Material Selection
Material choice is driven by what the steel storage tanks will store. Carbon steel grades such as ASTM A36 and A572 suit dry bulk storage, while SS304, SS316L, and duplex stainless steels are selected for potable water, food-grade, and chemically aggressive applications. Every material batch is accompanied by mill test certification to confirm compliance with the specified grade.
Fabrication & Welding
Plates are cut, rolled, and welded under ISO 9001:2015-certified processes, with welders qualified to ASME IX and AWS D1.1 standards. This stage produces the shell, roof, and base components before assembly into the finished vessel structure.
Surface Finishing
Depending on the material and application, tanks and silos receive sandblasting and protective coating to SSPC and NACE standards, or specialized food-grade and chemical-resistant linings where hygiene or chemical compatibility is required.
Quality Inspection
Before dispatch, every stainless water tank undergoes non-destructive testing, including ultrasonic testing, radiography, and magnetic particle inspection, as well as hydrostatic or pneumatic pressure testing, in accordance with ASME and API requirements. Third-party inspection is available on request.
LITCO brings more than three decades of fabrication experience to every silo and tank project undertaken in Saudi Arabia. Our engineering team designs each vessel to internationally recognized codes rather than generic templates, and our fabrication facility carries the certifications, welding qualifications, and testing capability required to back that design work with verifiable quality.
We have delivered cement silos, municipal water tanks, and custom chemical vessels for major industrial clients, and our project teams remain involved from initial design calculations through on-site erection and commissioning. Clients working with LITCO benefit from a single point of accountability across the entire project lifecycle, backed by documented material traceability and inspection records for every vessel we produce.
Operating from our Riyadh headquarters, LITCO fabricates and installs silos and steel storage tanks for clients across the Kingdom, including Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, and Jubail. Our logistics and site erection capability extends to remote industrial locations, allowing us to support large-scale projects wherever they are situated, from coastal petrochemical hubs to inland agricultural and construction sites.
What are silo tanks used for?
Silo tanks are used to store bulk solids and liquids, including cement, aggregates, grain, animal feed, water, and chemical products, in a controlled and structurally secure vessel suited to the specific material being stored.
Do you manufacture stainless steel water tanks?
Yes. LITCO fabricates stainless steel water tanks in SS304 and SS316L grades for potable water, food-grade, and hospitality applications, engineered for hygiene compliance and long-term corrosion resistance.
Can you build custom silo tanks?
Yes. Our engineering team designs custom silos and tanks around specific capacity, discharge, and site requirements, producing vessels tailored to each client’s operational needs rather than relying solely on standard configurations.
What industries use steel storage tanks?
Steel storage tanks are used across construction, agriculture, water utilities, oil and gas, food and beverage, and chemical processing industries, each requiring different material grades and design specifications.
Do your tanks meet industry standards?
Yes. All LITCO tanks and silos are engineered to ASME Section VIII, API 650, AWWA D100, and applicable Saudi building code requirements, with fabrication carried out under ISO 9001:2015-certified processes.
Which cities in Saudi Arabia do you serve?
LITCO serves clients throughout the Kingdom, including Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Jubail, and Yanbu, with the capacity to support both urban and remote industrial installations.
